Hill loves toys that sing and we have a couple that we take with us wherever we go. The other day when leaving the house Kyle said, "Make sure you bring that Sea Horse." Should I be worried?

Me and Hill
I realized in going back through my blog that I never post any pictures of me and Hill. Basically because I am the one always taking the pictures. Ignore our greasy appearance. Most of these are from after her bath, so we are both covered in aquafor.

Afternoon Activities
One of Hill's favorite things to do is to sit on our front porch and swing with her daddy. Well, not just her daddy, anyone really. These pictures just happen to be or her and Kyle.

Hairless and Happy

I would never shave my legs if I didn't have to, and honestly, the one nice thing about the winter months is pants that hide unshaven legs. On top of not liking to shave, my shower is so small that I have to stick my leg outside of the shower stall in order to keep the water from washing off all of the soap before I hit it with the razor. Plus, while I was pregnant and couldn't bend like that or see my legs for that matter, I would have to take a bath in order to shave. Who has time for that? While telling some friends about my hate for all things hair removal, the Venus Breeze was brought to my attention. I was told that it has built in soap bars so all you have to do is shave. No soap application, no sticking the leg out of the shower, no bath. Well, I caved in and bought the $8 razor/greatest invention ever. It is awesome! So, thank you Venus, my legs and my husband thank you.

Tuckered Out
I know you're not supposed to nurse a baby to sleep, but Hill was so tired last night that she just rolled right over on the boppy. She probably would have slept there all night long if I would have let her.

Better Late Than Never
I just realized that I never posted any pictures from Easter. We had a great time visiting Kyle's family and Hill was thoroughly entertained the whole weekend.

Baby Orajel
Hill has been teething so I decided to try some orajel on her. I've been using it for about a week now and as I was giving it to her last night, I wondered if it actually did her any good. I proceeded to put it on my gums to see if it did anything to me. When my gums started tingling, my top lip went numb and I was still drooling 3o minutes later, I decided it probably worked on her.

Losing My Mind
I had a kind of rough day yesterday. It all started when I went to Babies R Us on a mission to get Hill started on Rice Cereal. Once I got there, I guess I got a little wrapped up in what kind of formula I was going to mix it with. Then I decided I needed bowls, spoons, breast milk storage bags and some 6 month pj's. Hill was being such an angel that I just strolled her around for a little while in the store just to kill some time. When I went to check out, a sweet lady behind me gave me a $3 off coupon and I had a gift card that covered the cost of everything! I left feeling energized and ready to conquer rice cereal. One problem, as soon as I got home, I realized I didn't buy the rice cereal. AHHHHH! Frustrated, but not defeated, I decided to get some when I went to The Pig to buy groceries for dinner. For anyone with a baby, you know that grocery shopping isn't always the easiest thing. I normally shop at Publix, but I was just buying a few ingredients to make tortellini soup, (it's fabulous and easy, let me know if you want the recipe)I went to The Pig. First of all, their shopping carts are about 6 feet tall, and the check out aisles are so small that you have to send your baby down the conveyor belt with the food. Everyone does it there, so they are used to it, but I still feel a little silly watching her car seat go over the scanner. Every time, it makes me think about those credit card commercials. Onion $1, minced garlic $1.50, chicken broth $4.50, Baby Priceless. Anyway, they bagged my groceries, told me to have a nice day, and then it hit me, I forgot the tortellini, for the tortellini soup! I had to carry the car seat and 4 bags of groceries back through the store, grab the tortellini and go through the check out again. Let me just tell you, an almost 15 pound baby in a car seat and 4 bags of groceries, isn't the easiest thing to maneuver. When I got home, I mixed together the formula and poured in the rice cereal. As soon as I turned around to grab a spoon, the rice cereal box fell on the bowl and knocked the whole concoction out on the counter. All I could do was laugh and take a picture.

Rice Cereal
Hill started rice cereal this week and she did ok with it. Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. She was actually pretty interested in the whole thing, especially chewing on the spoon. Here's a montage of the whole event.

Four Month Stats
Hill had her 4 month check up on Tuesday and she is a growing girl. She was 14.3 pounds (70th percentile) and 25 1/4 inches (75th percentile). Dr. Peters was cracking up because Hill would roll from her back to her stomach and then over again to her back. She tucks her knees up underneath her and skoots too. She's looks like a little fish that flops around on the ground. She did pretty good getting her shots. Her face turned bright red then she stuck her bottom lip out drama queen that she is. She was so worn out from performing at the Doctor's that she fell asleep in the car on the ride home and took a 2 1/2 hour nap.

All Smiles
Don't report me to DHR, but I let Hill sleep on her stomach. She's been doing it since she was about 4 weeks old and we are all much happier because of it. She used to wake up in the morning and from naps screaming her head off. I guess she is getting better sleep now because I will walk in her room to check on her and she just lifts her little head up and smiles at me. Kyle and I fight over who gets to wake her up in the morning. I decided to take my camera in there today when she woke up from a nap.

Celebrity Look Alike

As for Ashlee, I figured it out right as she was mid song post being dumped at the most dramatic rose ceremony ever. She looks exactly like Giada De LaCleavage (a la Everyday Italian). We have a love hate relationship. Love the food. Hate the, you guessed it, cleavage she unnecessarily shows off every time she's on TV. Don't get me started, I could write a whole post on Giada.

Blogger Blues
I know more than three people who have written on my blog actually read my blog because of my nifty reader counter (Unless it is just all of my non-blogging stalker friends racking up my number). Anyway, if you blog, I need your help. Does anyone else have problems uploading pictures. Every time I try to upload, I get that dumb error message like my Internet isn't working. I have to upload over and over until about the 20th time when it might finally work. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I need to just do the slide show thingy. I promise I would post a lot more if I could upload pictures more quickly. Help!
