Easter Weekend

Sorry for so many posts all at once, but I have to get mom's computer back to her today. We had a wonderful Easter weekend. On Saturday we took Hill up to Canterbury UMC for an Easter egg hunt. She was much more interested in the praise band than the eggs, but she had the best time dancing and being around other children. She was definitely not a fan of the Easter bunny and refused to get anywhere near "it" (is the Easter bunny a boy or girl?) On Sunday we made it to church for an awesome service and then over to Lolly and D-Da's house for lunch and the unveiling of the Easter basket. She quickly discovered the jelly beans, chocolate eggs and peeps inside the eggs and seemed to like it all, just like her momma. I didn't realize that everything the Easter bunny brought her had a "B" theme until I started writing this: bubbles, bracelets, bunny ears, bugs (the kind that expand in the water). I cannot tell you how many times over the past week she has taken all of the eggs out of the basket then put them back in or put on all of her bracelets one by one then taken them off one by one. I am sensing some OCD tendencies, now I know that didn't come from me, so I'll blame that one on Kyle. Here are some pictures from our fun weekend. Twe semi-new posts below.

Picture Update

Hill is 16 months old now and I have to say that this has been my absolute favorite stage of life so far. She is so much more interactive and talks non stop. I laugh all day long. Here are some pictures of what she's been up to:

typical hairdo after nap time

heading off to school

getting in and out of the car

opening cabinets

eating a lot!

watching sesame street

Hill Has Something To Tell You...

I know it is so cliche that when people disappear from blogging for a while they come back with news that they are pregnant, but I can't help being cliche because I AM PREGNANT! Our computer is still MIA and the outlook is grim for ever recovering our missing hard drive so I am posting this from mom's computer. I am 12 weeks along and we've seen and heard the baby's heartbeat which is a huge relief! The due date is November 5th but based on my (excessive and unnatural) weight gain last time and the size of Hill when she was born (8lbs 6oz), we were told to go ahead and prepare to be induced at 39 weeks. So it looks like we'll be having a little Halloween baby (trick? or treat?). We are very excited about the new addition. Or I guess I should say that I am very excited, Kyle hasn't checked in yet and probably won't until after the baby is born like he did with Hill, and as for Hill, she has no clue what is going on. I am feeling great compared to how I felt last time with a few bouts of nausea here and there, but nothing I can't handle. We will definitely be finding out the sex of the baby, so I'll keep you all posted. Hopefully I will be able to do it from my own recovered computer instead of having to borrow one again.
