Big Girl Bath

Up until a week ago, Hill was still taking baths in her baby tub. This was for several reasons, a couple of them being that she is wild in the bath tub and we knew she needed to be contained, and the one time we'd tried letting her sit it the real tub, she looked like she was on a slip n slide. Thanks to Linens N Things going out of business we bought one of those no-slip bath things for really cheap in hopes of resolving one of our issues. As for our unconfined child issue, we are still working out some of the kinks. I really do need to get the "event" of bath time on video because the girl acts like a crazy person, as in she loves it. Up and down, side to side, under the faucet, under the water (she holds her breath and can blow bubbles, I'm not kidding), splashing, flapping her arms and kicking her legs like she is trying to out swim Michael Phelps. It is hilarious. Kyle and I probably say "sit on your bottom!" about 100 times between us during the 10 minute escapade. When we finally pull her out of the water, she screams bloody murder. This was her first time to get a big girl bath.
